Apoyo a la Innovación

Por solicitud de la Profesora Lucía Atehortua de la Universidad de Antioquia, compartimos invitación a postular al Premio de la Fundación VinFuture para investigadores

El premio VinFuture es un premio global de ciencia y tecnología de reciente creación que se originó en Vietnam. El premio está creado para honrar la investigación científica de vanguardia y las innovaciones tecnológicas que crean un cambio significativo en la vida cotidiana de millones de personas. Comprende un Gran Premio de US $ 3 millones, otorgado anualmente por investigaciones innovadoras e invenciones tecnológicas que mejoran positivamente la calidad de vida humana y crean un mundo más equitativo y sostenible. También se otorgarán anualmente tres premios especiales adicionales de US $ 500.000 cada uno a los innovadores de países en desarrollo, mujeres innovadoras e innovadoras con logros sobresalientes en campos emergentes.

Greetings from the VinFuture Prize Foundation in Hanoi, Vietnam!

It is our great pleasure to learn about your scientific career, reputation and contributions. And we are honored to invite you to become an Official Nominator for the “2021 VinFuture Prize,” as the Foundation would benefit tremendously from your expertise.

The VinFuture Prize is a newly established global science and technology prize originating from Vietnam. The Prize is set up to honor breakthrough scientific research and technological innovations that create meaningful change in the everyday lives of millions of people. It comprises a Grand Prize of US$ 3 million, awarded annually for breakthrough research and technological inventions that positively improve the quality of human life, and create a more equitable and sustainable world. Three additional Special Prizes of US$ 500,000 each will also be awarded annually to Innovator(s) from Developing Country(ies), Female Innovator(s), and Innovator(s) with Outstanding Achievements in Emerging Fields.

The VinFuture Prize aims to recognize exceptional inventors and researchers from universities, research labs, as well as grassroots inventors worldwide who might not be working in a formal research environment. Any research or technological innovation is eligible to be nominated for the Prize if it addresses everyday issues of people, by being aligned with one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Prize Selection Process will be governed by an independent Prize Council, consisting of eleven (11) globally renowned individuals from academia, research and industry, chaired by Professor Sir Richard Henry Friend (University of Cambridge, UK). To be considered for the Selection Process, research or technological innovations must be nominated by the VinFuture Prize Nominators. Therefore, your expertise would greatly contribute to the selection of the most deserving people for the Prizes.
